Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Wolbach for Mrs. Emil Pedersen, 56, who passed away unexpectedly at her home east of Wolbach Friday morning. Mrs. Pedersen was found dead by her husband, when he returned home from a short business trip into town. Death was attributed to heart failure. (Funeral details followed.)
Elnor Dorothy Pedersen was born November 3, 1901, at Boelus, Nebraska, the daughter of Niels and Maren Christensen and departed this life January 10, 1958 at her home at the age of 56 years, 2 months and 7 days. She grew up in the Boelus community and was married there to Emil Pedersen, April 5, 1923. The couple then moved to Wolbach where they have resided since. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Wolbach.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Emil; six daughters, Mrs. Shirley Lanka, St. Paul; Mrs. Joan Christensen, Wolbach; Mrs. Lola Sperling, Cushing; Mrs. Phyllis Gebhardt, Scotia; Mrs. Lorraine Beed, Farmington, New Mexico and Mrs. Katharyn Dubas, Palmer; one son, Clayton at home; one sister, Mrs. Anna Petersen of Boelus; five brothers, Carl and Elmer of Boelus, Theodore of Cairo, Otto of Omaha and Thorwald of Dannebrog and fifteen grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, three sisters and three brothers.
