Emigrerede til USA i 1927. Lars Jensen, 92, Virginia, died Thursday, April 10, 1997 at the Good Sheperd Village in Summerfield, KS. He was born March 17, 1905 at Sennels, Denmark, and arrived in the United States in 1927, at which time he began working at a packing plant in Omaha. He married Clara Broz on September 18, 1932 at Beatrice and worked for the Lincoln Telephone and Telegraph Company where he had a pike pole patented that is used by LT&T. He worked for the Elastic Stopnut Company during WWII and operated a blacksmith shop in Wymore, a garbage service in Beatrice, and then a blacksmith shop and fertilizer business in Virginia until his retirement. He was a longtime member of the Danish Brotherhood in America Lodge #84. Interment is in the Virginia cemetery, Virginia, NE. Kilde:
