William Mills
The graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene for William Mills of Reno, Nev., formerly of Lane County, who died Nov. 29 of age-related causes. He was 94.
Mills was born June 10, 1913, in Longpine, Neb., to Gracey and Alonzo Mills. He and his wife, Alice, were married on Oct. 31, 1970, in Reno. She died April 13, 2006.
He worked for Pacific Power & Light for 40 years.
Survivors include a son, James Smith of Reno; two daughters, Celesta Rosen of Springfield and Marie Boyd of Creswell; a brother, Charles of Wyoming; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A grandson, Dustin Boyd, died previously.
