Ann L. Garwood, 84, died at her home in Urbandale on Wednesday, July 19, 1995. She had been suffering with leukemia.
Anna Lovene Christensen was born in Newell on Aug. 25, 1910 to James E. and Mary Larsen Christensen. She was baptised into the Lutheran faith at the Nain Lutheran Church in Newell, and confirmed there. She had lived in Urbandale for the last 56 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Ryberg of New Ulm, Minnesota and Bev Garwood of Kalona; two sons, Jim of Urbandale and Harold, Jr. of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Loverne Clark, of Newell, and eight grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at the Westover Funeral Home, with burial in
