Another Christoffersen sister, Ane Jensine, married Christen Christensen in Skjoldborg and they came, with four of their children, to the United States in 1878. They also came first to Illinois, but migrated with my great-grandmother's family to Buena Vista County, Iowa and spent their lives in Alta, Iowa.

Jensine's family lived in Alta, Iowa, just a few miles from her sister Martha, in Newell. I don't have much information on her family. I used to have photographs of her and her husband, but now I cannot find them.
